I can wait

I was once told not to live your life like a checklist. meaning don't make a list of what your life should entail, instead let your life be more of an adventure. I thought this was a really good lessen. especially for me. I'm one to always say, "I can't wait for..." out of excitement. now that I have cole I stop myself before saying those words. because I can wait for him to say mama, for him to do new things or for him to hold his head up on his own. for now I am enjoying him just as he is; sweet, cuddly & as pure as love can be.
