lemons have been in my house for months now. I never, ever bought lemons before but the baby loves fruit. especially lemons. I eat more fruit now than I ever have. last week I ate 6 pounds of lemons! it is so good in water and apparently is so good for you. I had no idea lemons had nutritional value & health benefits but here is what I found:

*best known for high vitamin C
*eases the effects of colds and flu
*good in the prevention of kidney stones
*potassium is another nutrient contained in the lemons
*eating lemons also hastens healing of wounds and helps to lower high body temperature.
*lemon is also a well-known diuretic. it helps to treat problems associated with urinary tract infections
*eating lemons also helps to dispel problems like arthritis or rheumatism
*dietary fiber - 2.8 g

I hope this is one craving that will never go away

I was the same with my first pregnancy! I always wanted lemons with my water. And as it's been said, what you crave is what your body needs... and all Vitamin C is doing both of your bodies well! :)

I craved a lot of fruit too during my pregnancy. It is true that our bodies tell us what we need. I couldn't even stand the smell of coffee, uck! My other big craving was 50/50 bars. I was due in the summer though, and not only did it taste great, it helped cool me off :-)
