My favorite things about being a mom is watching my two girls play together and laugh together!

The best thing about being a mom is snuggling with the kids in the morning!

My favorite thing about being a mom is hearing my children laugh, especially those deep belly laughs!
My favorite thing about being a mom is putting my kids to bed. I read my three year old son a story every night and tuck him in. And there is something special about nursing your baby right before bed, when they get all droopy-eyed and start to settle in for the night.

The best part of being a mom is hearing "love you mommy" along with a big smile. My daughter melts my heart. Every single day.
my favorite thing about being aa mommy is watching my children grow into beautiful beings, everyday is truly a gift
One of the best things about being a Mom is being needed and knowing that you are the only person who can fill your role.
Fistfulls of dandelions, sticky kisses, and hearing "I wuv you Mommy" are worth more than millions of dollars.

My favorite thing? It has to be my 2 year old daughter and 18 month old son cuddling with my chocolate lab, Koby...as they did last night while resting on the lawn. With their heads on his back, my daughter said to him, "I wuv you Koby". I've had him since before I even met my husband and to see my kids play with him makes my heart melt.
I do have to add the best advice I ever recieved when pregnant....because you are almost a Mommy!
"You will become the expert in your own baby".
Best wishes to you

My favorite thing about being a mom today is watching them from just a few steps away and realizing I brought these little people into the world, and they used to be babies and now they're little ones walking and talking and singing me sweet songs! Happy Mother's Day!
missfagan@gmail.com
Being a Mama is the best. There are so many great things about it but I love the hugs and kisses the best :)
Happy Mother's day!
This is my first mother's day as a mom! I have several friends who are new moms too and they give great advice...in particular, enjoy every moment...it goes by so fast!
the best part of being a mommy is definitely the unprompted hugs, kisses and I love yous. it really doesnt get much better than that!
i love napping with my little people. love hearing "good morning, mama." love being in love with "two men" at the same time -- my husband who in an instant turned into a father.
motherhood is greatness.
My favorite thing about being a mom is when your kids fall asleep on your chest - best feeling in the world is holding a sleeping baby. The best advice I received was to triple sheet the crib with waterproof layers in between. That has saved me more times than I can count. Can't wait to read about the arrival of your new addition!
The BEST thing about being a Mama is a house full of laughter and sweet babies after bath time! The best advice I got was to rest when the baby sleeps and let everything else wait!
The best thing about being a mom is slobbery kisses and big hugs!

My favorite thing about being a mom is the way it feels when my daughter's hands reach out and touch my skin.
Their smiles, giggles and cuddles are my favorite things in the world. Nothing makes me more happy.

Laughter. You will never get enough of theirs and it will take you far to laugh with them.
Bedtime routine is the best, lots of snuggling and talking!! Megan West
There are so many favorites! I love when my little boy (19 mos) looks up at me and holds his arms up for me to pick him up without saying a word! I love when my 3 year old daughter is SO PROUD of herself for "reading" a book to me - it is so funny to hear her stories! Last but not least, I love that my 5 year old told my mom that when she gave me my Mother's Day card (that she made at school) she knew I loved it because I used my "heart voice," when I was talking about it and gave her a hug. Children are so cute- you will love being a mom!
The best thing about being a mom is finding out how good it really is. No one can explain how really hard it is....and until you're in it, you can't believe how wonderful it is, either! Happy Mother's Day!
There are so many wonderful things about being a mom that there's no way I could choose just one. Every day is special because of my little girl, and I think the best advice I can give is ro take the time to enjoy the little moments. They pass so quickly!

the best thing about being a mom is that feeling of aww when you look at your child and know that they are completely yours to love and hold and cherish.

my favorite thing about being a mom is doing the things my mom did for me to my own girls...
My favorite thing about being a mom is watching my daughter learn or do things for the very first time. The wonder and excitement in her eyes is amazing!
The best thing about being a mom is watching them learn so many new things! I just love it!
My favorite part of being a mama was discovered within the first hours of my daughter's birth...she laid her sweet little head on my shoulder and slept and it was the most wonderful feeling. She is 10 months now and every night before I put her in her crib she lays on shoulder and chest and there is no other feeling like that!! I love my little girl and I love being her mama!
marybeth.toles@gmail.com
I tweeted about it!
@marybethtoles

I blogged about it too!

Some advice I got before becoming a mom, was to trust my instincts - always.
Also, one of my good friends advised me to TAKE A SHOWER as soon as the nurses give you the OK after delivery...At the time it seemed like a daunting task, but afterwards, I felt like a new person! :)
The best thing about being a mom so far has been my 18 month old looking up and me and excitedly saying, "MOMMY!" it melts my heart every time. Oh, and when he was nursing, he would stroke the back of my arm really gently...it was so sweet.
Thanks for the chance!
My daughters are exactly 4 years apart...to the day. Although this was not planned, it is a very special bond that already has my 5-year old being a little momma to her little sister. I LOVE that they are already best friends and I am blessed to witness their joy in each other each and every day!
denise.obryan@gmail.com
Two favorite things... the community of mothers you become a part of and making my baby girl giggle.
i tweeted too! @GreerAnn
i love watching my kids love each other, care for each other, laugh together, and protect each other it is the sweetest thing in the world!

My favorite thing about being a mom is watching my children grow into compassionate people.

The most amazing thing about being a mom is that all of your ideas about what is important in life before babies change completely and suddenly all your heart needs are those little ones in your life! I love being a mommy....I am about to become a mommy for the 3rd time and I still feel all of the amazing love. excitement, just for the third time! I am blessed!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite part of being a mommy is holding my little boy (15 months) when he is being cuddly. He's really not a big cuddler, so when he is I eat it up! Hearing him laugh is a close second :o)
amykalb@gmail.com
The BEST is when my kids make each other laugh. Half the time I don't know what gets them going but their laughter is contagious!
My advice is to take lots of pictures. Especially at the hospital - I made an entire album of pictures from my daughter's birth and it's so fun to see her doctor holding her, all the friends/family that visited and the candid shots. I love the picture of my husband holding her for the first time and our first picture of us as a family. It's amazing how fast they grow and change so you want to capture as much as you can!

ohh fun, a giveaway! my favorite thing about being a mama to a 2 1/2year old little boy is knowing that he counts on me for EVERYTHING. and that there is not a worry in the world for that little guy b/c I have it ALL covered ALL the time. i love making his life happy! :)
My favorite thing about being a mom is watching my son grow and interact in the world! Seeing him tenderly interacting with others, soo sweet!
God couldn't be everywhere, so he created mommy's.
my favorite thing is that feeling where my heart just might explode with love for my boys..
as far as advice, with a newborn, don't start any patterns that you don't want to have to break later. the newborn time can be very stressful, but in hindsight its such a short time.
My favorite thing so far is the smiles! Thanks for doing this giveaway. Hallie

Enjoy every moment and remember to take time out for yourself! Having kids is the best!
I love reading to my babies. Especially because they have to sit on my lap and snuggle. Good luck with your new baby. I am so happy for you.
the deep joy in my childrens eyes melts me daily!
and they are sper cute in tiny sprouts clothes:)
Oh this is so hard!! I love it when all three of my children are getting along, playing and laughing together - sometimes it only lasts 5 minutes but it's so worth it! Best of luck Tracey!
My favorite thing about being a mom is watching my little Ezra (4.5 months) wiggle and squeal when he sees me after his naptime!
williamandjessica@gmail.com
motherhood has taught me humility beyond words. remember all those things you said you would or wouldn't do/say/use? you eat your words. you put the cerebral approach aside and use your heart. every child is different so no book or best friend can tell you one method that does/does not work. you learn that the only effective way to raise your child is to use your best judgment, based on your specific child's needs. every day, i am humbled -- it continues to ground me and i love that learning experience.
not really sure if you're still taking entries...but, best advice [for this phase of motherhood...and so far] has been to "pick your battles."
favorite thing about motherhood is just the overwhelming feeling of knowing I was chosen for my kids to love and nurture. I love the weight of the responsibility because it challenges me daily.
hope you had a wonderful mother's day!!
My favorite thing about being a mom is when those big eyes look up at you with such love and adoration and it just melts your heart.
