it really happened!

elsa came and spent the night! my sister and I were kidding when we asked her if she wanted to. elsa said yes. we thought she was kidding but she wasn't. she grabbed her suitcase and packed her things and was ready to go. we thought at some point she would want to go home.

-these pictures are kind of blurry because they were taken with my phone. okay, wait, really blurry!-

we made chili together

she and bry talked about her day
(please ignore our plastic dining room table!)

she talked to bry from the laundry shoot

we snuggled on the couch, watched bolt and ate popcorn!

read clifford.

I thought for sure at this point in the night I would be taking her home. I checked on her all night. she was sound asleep. around 7:30 in the morning I heard her talking. I peeked in and watched her read to her babies. I almost burst into tears. she is so sweet.

the next day we went shopping for her own bath towel for our house and her own pjs. it was so fun. on the way home, I looked back and saw this

I came home and saw this

and missed her instantly. I loved our special night together!

that is so sweet...I had special relationships with my nieces too when they were little and those relationships continue on now that they are grown and yes I would miss them too when they would go home. Keeps the memories growing!
